Aruba
Located in the heart of the southern Caribbean just 15 miles off the coast of Venezuela, Aruba offers a unique cultural mix of some 40 different ethnic groups that is reflected in its heritage and its people, springing mainly from Caquetio Indian, African and European roots. This fascinating culture, and the beauty of this island, inspired me to become a certified Aruba Specialist by the Dept. of Tourism in Aruba. On the south and west coasts are miles of pristine white beaches that rank among the most beautiful in the world; the northeast coast is rugged and wild; and the interior is desert like with a variety of cacti and dramatic rock formations. I have traveled to Aruba many times and have stayed at most of the hotels on the island, sampled restaurants, shopped and visited the tourist attractions on this island that measures less than 20 miles long and six miles across for an area of just 70 square miles. Let my appreciation for this Caribbean gem coupled with my first-hand knowledge guide you to the right place for your next vacation.

Bermuda
Most people think Bermuda is in the Caribbean, but having studied and become a certified Bermuda Specialist through the Dept. of Tourism in Bermuda, I know that it is set in an astoundingly beautiful stretch of the Atlantic just east of North Carolina, which means that flights from New York and other eastern US cities can reach Bermuda in less than two hours. To qualify as a Specialist I have had to travel to Bermuda many times, examined and tested out most of the properties on the island and get a taste of Bermudian culture, cuisine, shopping and fun things to do. As Great Britain's oldest colony, its culture is still strongly influenced by that early association that distinguishes this island from others, as there is a touch of Britain everywhere - from cricket matches to a bobby directing traffic. Do let me guide you to your next very close to home getaway.
